Parks & Recreation Maintenance

The Neshannock Township Board of Supervisors are seeking applicants for the position of Maintenance for the Parks and Recreation Department. This is a full-time position at Neshannock Township.

Parks & Recreation Maintenance: To assist in all general operations of Hess Ice Rink, Pearson Park, Hess Sports Complex and Walmo Ball Fields for the safe use by Township residents.

Essential duties & responsibilities include the following: Assists in maintaining the ice surface of Hess Ice Rink to ensure the surface is safe and playable for all activities. Performs maintenance on all ice rink equipment. Assists in daily operation of Hess Ice Rink which includes collecting admission, operating skate rental and concession stand and general janitorial duties. General maintenance of all areas of Pearson Park and Hess Sports Complex. Activities will include lawn care, (must be able to operate tractors, weedwhackers, snow blowers, power washers, leaf blowers, etc.), building/shelter maintenance, playground equipment, trail maintenance, and daily restroom maintenance. This position reports to the Parks and Recreation Director for Neshannock Township. Other duties may be assigned as necessary. Applicants must have a valid PA Driver’s license. This position will be subject to Act 33 and 34 clearances and drug and alcohol testing per Neshannock Township policy.
